CLAY TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING

May 28th, 2025 6:00 PM

  1. CALL TO ORDER: The May 28th, 2025, Meeting of the Clay Township Board was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chair Andy Kietzman, and those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
  2. ROLL CALL: Present: Chair Andy Kietzman, Supervisor Mike Lichter, Treasurer Brandi Ward and Clerk Kristina Case
  3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: A motion was made by Kietzman, seconded by Lichter, and unanimously carried to approve the agenda as presented.
  4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
    1. Clay Township Regular Meeting Minutes-April , 2025: A motion was made by Kietzman, seconded by Lichter, and unanimously carried to approve the Clay Township Regular Meeting Minutes for April 23rd, 2025.
  5. NEW BUSINESS:
    1. UFFDA Bingo Application: LG220 A motion was made by Kietzman, seconded by Lichter, and unanimously carried to approve application.
    2. Mandatory Fun Outdoors/Emmaville: LG200A, Request to approve pull tabs at Emmaville with non profit sponsor Mandatory Fun Outdoors. A motion was made by Kietzman, seconded by Lichter, and unanimously carried to approve application.
    3. MATIT Coverage Review: A motion was made by Kietzman, seconded by Lichter, and unanimously carried to approve with no changes.
  6. OLD BUSINESS:
    1. November Election: Start process to add question to November ballot. Also creating a postcard to send to residents to explain the question.
  7. ROAD REPORT:
  8. APPROVAL OF TREASURERS REPORT: Reports were discussed. CD matures, interest will be split between Road and Bridge and General Fund. A motion was made by Kietzman, seconded by Lichter, and unanimously carried to approve the treasurer’s report, Split Interest and pay outstanding invoices.
  9. ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Kietzman, seconded by Lichter, and unanimously carried to adjourn the meeting at 6:15 p.m.
